I read this book in one day (apart from the last 20 pages, could stay awake no longer!)I picked up this book cos I wanted a nice story to read....taking a break from all the heavy spiritual books and I was pleasantly surprised. Although alot of the beliefs in it were not mine, it didn't stop it being a great story. A feel good story. One part in particular showed a woman who was overweight in her life and then was still showing herself in an overweight body, even though she didn't have to even have a body anymore. It was an important lesson that often we are stuck in bad situations, sometimes by just our thoughts.Very nice!

What a fantastic book. If your interested in what might happen in the afterlife and understand psychology, then this is a must have read. I totally agree with Scot Peck, in that we have to work out our psychological problems somewhere, so why not in the afterlife, under the care of loving beings.

I suppose this is an unusual book, and perhaps you would need to be at a time in your life where it made sense. Aside from small parts in the book, I thought it was riveting. It was a great book, written with care and compassion. That your pre-deceased spouse might not want to see you, well, I had never thought about that. A great book. Well worth the read. It makes you think about how you view life. True M Scott Peck integrity.
